We all know how crazy, busy and messy life can really get, especially with little ones. My family photo shoots are designed to not only get you outside on a one-hour family adventure, but to help you get those incredibly fun and free-spirited photos you truly want! Share your vision with me and I’ll make sure to capture all the silly, sweet and special moments we can create in our time together. Family Sessions are great for celebrating a holiday or child’s milestone, wanting to remember a fun stage or age in your lives, or capturing the beauty of a season.

Child-led Approach
Letting their natural impulses and actions lead the way into great photos. No forced hugging, smiling or poses. Just playfulness, curiosity and cuddles when they want them!

Natural Interactions
No stiff poses here! I’ll work in any specific shots you want while giving you plenty of prompting that brings out genuine smiles, even for the most camera-shy kiddos.

Pets are family, too! No matter how big, drooly or exotic, if you want your pet in your pictures, let’s make it happen!

Additional fees apply for each person beyond 6, travel mileage beyond 35 miles round-trip from White Bear Lake, MN and any location permits. To be discussed after booking request.
What to expect

Within 24 hours of submitting your booking request I’ll reply with an approval email or offer alternate date/times.
*ADD ME TO YOUR CONTACTS! I often end up in Junk Mail, so check there if you don’t see my email.

Once your session is approved, I’ll send your customized proposal. Simply sign the contract and pay the invoice with a credit or debit card to complete your booking!

Payment in full is due 7 days before your session date.
If your session is more than 7 days away, you benefit from my 2 payment schedule! 50% now, 50% a week before your session.
*The first 50% is a non-refundable retainer fee.

Your Client Portal is an easily accessible hub where all of your files, session details and communications with me are stored. If you ever need to review your proposal, questionnaires, previous emails or want to share files (like photo inspirations), this is where it happens!

Once you’re booked, you get unlimited email access with me for planning. I’ll also send you a questionnaire right away to learn what your session is about, get your ideas for location, outfits and all the rest, so you get the experience and images you want!
Before your session I’ll make sure all the details are squared away and share any special instructions for the day of your shoot so everything runs smoothly and we can focus on having fun!

About 6 weeks after your session, I place all the best images into your online gallery. You get 2 weeks to select which ones you want to keep! Your package price includes 35, but you will have the option to purchase the full gallery.

Not only does your online gallery allow for digital image storage for a year, high-resolution and web-size downloading, you also get access to ordering prints and creating physical products via my online store! With just a few clicks, you can have wall hangings, calendars, cards, albums, etc made for yourself and loved ones.
